Sexual harm doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it affects all of us and every time it happens, strong emotions are evoked. Join Aredvi and Ignacio for a thought-provoking webinar, to explore abolition and transformative justice in action. We’ll discuss healing possibilities for addressing harm as an alternative to punishment, shame, and isolation. Let’s challenge the punitive mindset and make healing possible for people who have suffered and caused harm. Together, we can prepare to respond to harm with compassion and a deep commitment to breaking cycles of harm. We are dreaming beyond punishment toward a future where healing and transformation take center stage.

Consent culture promised us safety, connection, and better sex. But for many of us, the reality is more complicated. Sometimes consent feels like care; other times it feels like a cage — keeping us performing “healing” while staying stuck in vigilance mode.

In this circle, we’ll share honestly about what consent culture has meant in our lives. What has worked? What hasn’t? Where have we found genuine safety and connection, and where have we found ourselves caught in new forms of shame, hypervigilance, or performance?

This space is for anyone who doesn’t feel at home in other spaces. That includes men & masculine+ folks, sexuality professionals and healers, queer and trans people, asexual folks, sex workers, and anyone curious about what lies beyond the limits of consent culture.

This isn’t therapy, but it is healing. It’s not about getting consent “right,” but about getting real with the messy, imperfect, beautiful work of rebuilding intimacy that feels true. Together, we’ll witness each other’s stories, celebrate the victories, and name the gaps that consent alone can’t fill.

What We’ll Explore:

  • The promises and limits of consent culture in our actual lives
  • How vigilance, shame, or pressure show up in relationships
  • The difference between harm-prevention and home-building
  • Stories of fumbling, learning, and finding our way back to pleasure
  • What we need beyond consent to feel truly safe and alive

Who Should Come:
Anyone interested in deepening conversations about consent, safety, and connection. Whether you’re steeped in consent culture or just beginning to explore it, you’re welcome here with your real stories and genuine care.

Step into the Sexual Healing Salon, a nurturing sanctuary for sexuality professionals and anyone hungry for the joyful practice of sexual healing in community. Guided by the Rivera-Azad Sexual Healing Integration Model (RASHIM), this gathering invites a celebration of the truth that our biggest sex organ is our brain — and calls us to put it to delicious use.

Feeling stuck in a pattern, longing for affirmation, or craving a space to work through a sticky question about sex, love, or connection? This is the place to bring it — a cerebral orgy, a sanctuary to share your full self, from “down there” to “up there” — and be held in community.

Together we’ll weave skill-sharing and collective healing into a sweet spot where you can explore the real complexities, pleasures, and challenges of sex, love, and relationships. Come practice the art of connection, grow the skills of communal care, and ignite new ways of celebrating our erotic, relational lives — in body, mind, spirit, and heart.

Audience: Advanced, Professional

Themes: Relationship Building, Cycle Breaking, Liberation

Duration: 1.5-2 Hours

Are you an abolitionist wondering how to restructure your relationships to reflect your values? Our sexual, romantic, and platonic relationships are bound by rigid moral, cultural, and legal structures that dictate what types of sex, love, and care practices deserve recognition and legitimization, leaving behind anyone who doesn’t play along. We examine the divide between legitimate vs. scrutinized relationships, and how you can craft connections that are anti-capitalist and anti-carceral. Challenging mainstream narratives in relationships, we evaluate how harmful relational constructs show up in all of our relationships, and explore the interpersonal skills that are necessary to build transformative relationships. This is an advanced workshop asking participants to reflect on their personal lives and cross-evaluate abolitionist practices.

Duration: 2-3 Hours

We welcome survivors and those who love them to a creative and interactive dialogue on surviving sexual violence, and navigating safe, empowering sexual lives. All too often, sex is altered, damaged, or made complicated for survivors. It takes time, patience, and trial and error to figure out what works for us. This workshop is not a therapy session, but a space for healing, skills building, and connection. We will witness each other, offer collective compassion, and share stories and ideas on what has worked for sexy survivors.

Themes: Cycle Breaking, Liberation, Harm Reduction

Duration: Lecture 1-1.25 Hours | Workshop: 1.5-2 Hours

Have you experienced a sexual encounter you can’t quite categorize and are confused about where the line is? Or maybe you don’t identify as a survivor of sexual violence because “it wasn’t really that bad” or “they didn’t mean what they did”? Perhaps, you are wondering if you might have done harm, you want to figure it out but you’re terrified of being labeled a predator/rapist/perp? If any of these questions feel familiar or spark curiosity, join us as we discuss “the line”, navigating the culture of sexual violence, and how we can heal as survivors, harm-doers (and often both) without relying on carceral responses. We will learn about common ways of dismissing our harmful and traumatic sexual experiences, and challenge assumptions around suffering and causing sexual harm. Participants will be encouraged to engage in personal and political work to break out of the cycle of sexual harm, and to vision a future in which everyone can access sustainable accountability and transformative justice for healing and growth.

If consent is the floor, how do we build the rest of the house? Sweet Spot is an intensive skill-building and story-sharing laboratory where we go beyond consent culture’s basics to explore what it actually takes to build and rebuild our relational homes — spaces of trust, intuition, boundaries, and care.

When consent alone isn’t enough to keep harm away or give us the deep connections we crave, what else do we need? How can we move from control and protection to trust and compassion? We’ll name what needs repair, dream up new blueprints for connecting, and practice co-creating intimacy that honors our full selves.

Over three transformative hours, we’ll name what needs repair in our relational blueprints, dream up new architectures for connecting, and practice co-creating intimacy that honors our full selves — including our trauma, our boundaries, and our deepest longings.

What We’ll Practice:

  • Holding space for complex emotions in intimate moments
  • Advanced boundary navigation beyond “yes/no”
  • Reading and responding to subtle relational cues
  • Moving through conflict without losing connection
  • Creating safety that invites rather than controls

Who Should Come:

Intermediate to advanced participants who have experience with long-term healing work. You should feel open to being around explicit and vulnerable discussions of sexuality, relationships, and personal experiences.

Important Notes:

  • Limited capacity for small group work
  • 3-hour commitment with breaks for integration
  • Preparation encouraged: Resource yourself before attending and plan for aftercare
  • Support recommended: Connect with trusted friends, partners, or professionals for processing

This collective healing space recognizes that in this sweet spot, you don’t have to build alone. Come ready to help each other lay new foundations for loving, liberating, and transformative connections.
